Regulated flood zones
A regulated flood zone is an area of land likely to be flooded and delimited by cartography or, along the St. Lawrence River, by flood levels. In the territory of Quebec City, the only regulated and mapped flood zones are attached to the revised Land Use and Development Plan (DAS). These areas, which are in addition to the river's flood zone delimited by flood levels, are subject to the specific standards of the transitional regime for the management of floodplains, shorelines and coastlines since March 1, 2022. ATTENTION: The route showing the boundaries of flood zones is for information purposes only. Legal delimitation work will have to be validated on the ground by a land surveyor for each property targeted.
