CIRNAC fees are mainly collected by the Northern Affairs Organization, which collects over 99% of the departmental fees from issuance of exploration, discovery, and production licenses for the development of natural resources on federal lands in the North.

The Department completed 584 privacy requests, totaling 14,382 pages processed, ensuring Canadians have the right of access to their personal information.
