The vast northern part of Canada is sparsely populated.  Without those hardy souls who live there we cannot lay claim that the territory is part of Canada.  The cost for a family of four to travel from Iqualit to western Canada is close to $12,000.00.  That is outrageous.  These flights should be subsidized by the federal government, and i don't mean a tax credit, actual cash.
