Organization: Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Year: 2022

Month: November

Request Number: A-2022-01577

Request Summary: Clarification 22/10/07: IRCC has several `client' or `public'-facing tools on its website. We can enumerate the Representative Portal, the Come to Canada tool, the myCIC online application tool, the Employer Portal, the Express Entry portal, and more recently, a Portal for Citizenship applications, a Portal for PR applications, a Portal to confirm PR, a Portal to provide PR card photos, at the very least. For the context of this request, we will use the shorthand `Online Portal' to refer to any tool on IRCC's website that a person can use to submit an online application to IRCC, submit a document or update to an online application to IRCC, or obtain a necessary document, code or number required for an online application to IRCC, including but not limited to the afore-mentioned tools. I would please like a copy of all documents or records held by the Program Support Unit (Unité de Spécialistes de Programmes) concerning, confirming, explaining or documenting suspected or confirmed bugs or technical issues of any of IRCC's online portals. Records and documents from 2015-01-01 to 2022-09-29 would be relevant. The Program Support Unit is apparently a unit which works closely with the Ministerial Center for MPs and Senators. Provide only English / French versions where multiple languages are available. Include only final versions or latest drafts of documents, and last complete email chains. Remove non-relevant information without applying exemptions and identify them as not relevant. Remove materials that are an account of a possible or actual Cabinet confidence Original: I would please like a copy of all documents or records held by the Program support unit (Unité de Spécialistes de Programmes) concerning, confirming, explaining or documenting suspected or confirmed bugs or technical issues of IRCC online portals, employer or representative portals, or the Come to Canada online tool. Documents and records, including emails, from 2015-01-01 to 2022-09-29 would be relevant.
