Requesting the medical training and background of all those individuals reviewing and adjudicating on treatment benefits at the First Level (N1LA) and National Second Level of Review. Specifically whether these individuals have specific medical training to make determinations on veteran treatment benefits, their frequency and compensation and whether these individuals are contracted to provide this service or are Government of Canada employees. Requesting a copy of the contract between Blue Cross Medivie and Veteran Affairs Canada for any medical review services or determinations, especially those related to treatment benefits decisions and factors for Veterans.
