I would like all briefing notes, emails, memos or other records contributing to or related to the crafting of Elections Canada’s Nov. 16 tweet that read, “Elections Canada does not use Dominion Voting Systems. We use paper ballots counted by hand in front of scrutineers and have never used voting machines or electronic tabulators to count votes in our 100-year history. #CdnPoli”. The timeframe I am interested in is Nov. 13 to Nov. 16.

I would like a copy of any records created between October 21, 2019 and November 4, 2020 referencing the number of special ballots received by Elections Canada or at a returning office by mail after the deadline that were therefore not counted. If it is available, I would like this number broken down by electoral district. Clarification: I would like that requested information in relation to ballots cast for the 2019 election and relating to the ballot deadline for that election.
