In the 1926 Canada Census, there is a record of a James Norman Ross, age 25, listed as a prisoner in the Stony Mountain Penitentiary in Rockwood, Manitoba. I'm looking for a copy of his Inmate Admittance Record but I do not know the date he was admitted. Some records were microfilmed and available online but only up to 1922. Most sentences were 2 or 3 years so he could have been admitted sometime between 1923 and 1926. Is it possible to locate and obtain a copy of this record or other information for James Norman Ross in the Stony Mountain Penitentiary?

I am looking for a Transportation Safety Board report on the CPR train derailment that occurred on March 17, 1974 near Spences Bridge. After contacting the Library and Archives Canada Dept. they gave me the following link to the document, but mentioned I needed an Access to Information and Privacy review to access the document http://collectionscanada.gc.ca/pam_archives/index.php?fuseaction=genitem.displayItem&lang=eng&rec_nbr=1700239
