Requesting the average wait times for the following programs, with the Red Zone Requests, and then another calculation, removing these red zone requests. I believe that the Red Zone requests are skewing the data that Veterans Affairs are listing on their website, giving people the false pretense that their claims will be done much sooner than they actually are. Disability Benefits (First Application): - Other (Single Condition) - Other (Multiple Benefits) I'd like the average wait times calculated out in the weekly format that they published the information on the following webpage, since 2019 if possible. https://www.veterans.gc.ca/eng/resources/wait-times. From 2019-01-01 to 2021-05-19.

Requesting all pertinent legislation and VAC policies dealing with B Line treatment benefits and how they are awarded to veterans. Responsive records should include policies dealing with: - veterans who are first awarded VIP benefits rooted in conditions attributable to SDA/SDO service, thus becoming eligible for B line coverage; and - veterans who are awarded conditions arising from non-SDA/SDO service and VIP is granted for those conditions, and the veteran later successfully claims a SDA/SDO-related disability that would (on its own) result in B line coverage. Specifically, seeking policy dealing with the process VAC follows, which leads to B line coverage.

Critical injury benefit - List/Details of Successful Applicant Cases Since Program Inception In preparing for a final appeal CIB application, Request to have all details of the CIB cases that have been previously approved for this particular benefit. This request includes knowing the condition or injury amplified by details used by VAC to determine why they were fitting for this program's criteria. Essentially need the VAC decision letters (obviously redacted striking out all client personal identifying information) outlining why their application was successful so that the requester can challenge VAC's decision regarding CIB application which was unsuccessful. To determine the success ratio of applicants applying for this program so that the requester might further question or challenge how strictly VAC applies the advertised criteria for being approved, Would like VAC to include the number of REJECTED claims as well. Do not request the details of these unsuccessful claims, just the number of people who were turned away from VAC for this benefit.
