Ellery Ernest Ball, Royal Regiment of Canada, Regimental # B46215. Date of birth March 20,1910. Wife's name Mary Ball, 3 children. Father's name was Aaron Moses Ball, mother's name was Ellen Catherine Galbraith. Served 18-6-41 to Nov. 45. Ellery Ernest Ball died February 4, 1962. Found guilty on both charges, sentence forfs 63 days pay.

Directorate of History and Heritage J V Allard Fonds 84/126 files 27 and 43 for correspondence from Military Attache to Ottawa concerning a German scientist working on heavy water in the USSR contacting J V Allard as stated in his memoirs on page 138 this would be in the time frame of 1946-1949.. The CIA report states that two German scientists approached the Canadian embassy in the 1946-1948 time period. The heavy water article claims that one of the German scientist was Karl Herman Geib who was arrested for espionage
