Records regarding the facial recognition or facial biometric systems used in the Primary Inspection Kiosk (PIK) and Nexus machines. Specifically, records of the types of the hardware and software used in the PIK machines particularly the camera systems and software used in facial biometrics. Also, the methods used for facial recognition which may include, but not be limited to: facial features analyzed and determining if the camera sees a live person or picture on a piece of paper or on a digital screen. Additionally, records regarding use of two dimensional or three dimensional analyses when determining if a live image matches a photo stored on file and any research or analyses completed on the PIK machines in regards to the effectiveness; specifically accuracies, rates of false positives, and rates of false negatives. This excludes any Cabinet Confidences and is limited to final records.
