Req # AF-2022-00096

Under the Federal-Provincial Bilateral Agreements guiding the implementation of the National Housing Strategy, provinces are required to "report on the use of CMHC Funding and Cost-Matched Funding". I am requesting that CMHC provide me with the 2022 and 2021 progress reports provided to the federal government by each of the following provinces - BC, Saskatchewan. If these progress reports contain more detailed information (e.g. addendum, spreadsheets, etc.) on calculating or measuring progress toward the following, please ensure those details are also included:- target "at least 20% of units repaired/renewed"-any provincial variation of that target (e.g. if the province has set a higher target, or negotiated a lower target).- who administers the repaired/renewed units (e.g. government, non-profit, co-operative, other), if available.- energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions reductions from repaired units under the NHS The reports should be consistent with the description given by the National Housing Council: "Three times per year (year start, mid-year, year-end), P/Ts must submit Progress Reports to CMHC. These reports must describe provincial/territorial progress toward their targets outlined in Action Plans, along with cost-matched spending and program outputs thus far. P/Ts must also provide updates on the aggregate impact of developments and repairs on broad social outcomes, such as energy usage, greenhouse gas emissions and community employment benefits. Certain indicators (e.g., number of new and repaired housing units) must be disaggregated by the specific priority group targeted by the intervention.
