I am looking for files held by the Office of the Custodian of Enemy Property. The files are for the Haraguchi family. Seiichi Haraguchi, whose index card is on reel c9299, card #3032. His case file # is 568, and his wife, Chikae Haraguchi's case file # is 623. Seiichi's file should be on c9308 and Chikae's file should be on c9309. Both are not digitized. Both lived as adults in Nanaimo, B.C. before WWII, and have certainly been dead for a long time.

His case file is #2374, which is on reel c9329, which is not digitized. Second, I am looking for the file of his brother, Seiji Homma, whose index card was on reel c9299, card #4107. His case file is #12390 or 12396 (the last number is not clear) is on reel c9415, which is not digitized. Both men were adults in Nanaimo before WWII. Both died young, and have both been dead for more than 25 years.

I kindly and urgently request all information related to the reclassification/re-evaluation of job descriptions and categories for civilian employees & civilian members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 1974 and 1975 that led to the reclassification of employees and creation of the IM and TO Civilian Member categories that took effect on April 1st,1975. I would also require all information on how the pay rates were determined that were assigned on Apris 1st,1975 for these 2 groups. Information requested but not restricted to: minutes to Cabinet meetings, memoranda to Cabinet, business cases, reports, reommendations, documents; briefing notes and the like. Clarification: Revised date assigned to April 1st, 1976.
