Please release all notes, emails, memoranda, reports, photographs, videos, or other records created or stored by staff related to any of these inspections. Limit your search to records created between the date of the first site inspection and the present date (May 3, 2021). The following request relates to a memo dated December 29, 2004 to the Warden of Nova Institution from ADCO with the subject “Strip-Searching of Offenders leaving the institution”. For ease of reference, I have enclosed a copy of the memo. In the second paragraph, the memo states: “a subsequent review of this question has been conducted at the national level, in concert with the Correctional Investigators office”. The “question” is the strip-searching of offenders leaving the institution. I request a copy of all documents related to this review of the question of strip-searching offenders when leaving an institution, as referenced in this memo. The timeframe for this request is between January 1, 2000 and December 29, 2004.
