This Alberta Official Statistic describes types of disabilities among Albertans and Canadians aged 15+ by age group and sex for 2012. The data are divided into five age group categories (15-24, 24-44, 45-64, 65-74 and 75+) and are split up into males and females.

This Alberta Official Statistic describes the level of disability severity among the age group 65+ for Canada and provinces in 2012. The severity of disability is divided into four subcategories: mild, moderate, severe and very severe.

HALE is interpreted as the number of years of life remaining at age x, that a person would expect be in a full state of functional health, assuming the current mortality conditions and functional health prevalence remain in place throughout the remaining years of life.
