The following statistics with respect to public policy to facilitate the granting of permanent residence for certain refugee claimants working in the health care sector during the COVID-19 pandemic for the period from Dec 14, 2020 to the date when this access to information request is completed: (a) total number of applications received; (b) total number of individuals who have applied - with a breakdown by principal applicant vs dependent and among principal applicants with a further breakdown by NOC code; gender; claimant status (pending vs rejected); country of origin; year of arrival in Canada; intended province of residence; (c) total number of rejected applications and the total number of accepted applications with a further breakdown (separately in each - accepted and rejected category): by gender, NOC code, claimant status (pending vs rejected), country of origin, year of arrival in Canada, province of intended residence; for rejected applications - reasons for rejections; (d) number of cases rejected due to inadmissibility (with a breakdown by ground of inadmissibility). NOTE: I filed a similar request in 2021 (IRCC ATIP file 2A-2021-67616) and obtained info up to Feb 28, 2022. I now would like an updated information up to present.
