Geo-Floods: Presence grid of mapped flood areas
Geo-Flooding is an interactive map, accessible by mobile or computer, which allows you to consult the sectors for which information relating to flood zones is available. The information disseminated in this map comes from the following three sources of information (work has been done on the data to standardize everything): * [Grid of presence of flood zones identified by the MRCs] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/grille-de-presence-de-zone-inondable-identifiee-par-les-mrc) * [Territory flooded in 2017 and 2019] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/territoire-inonde-en-2017-et-2019) * [Territory flooded in 2017 and 2019] (* [Area of special intervention of 2017-2019 (from which are excluded the territories targeted by a ministerial decree)] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/delimitation-du-perimetre-de-la-zone-d-intervention-speciale-zis-annexe2-modifie) For information, the [Transitional Regulation for the Management of Flood Areas, Shores and Coastal Areas] (https://www.quebec.ca/gouvernement/politiques-orientations/plan-de-protection-du-territoire-face-aux-inondations/gestion-rives-littoral-zones-inondables/regime-transitoire)) has been in force since 1 March 2022. Under the [Transitional Regulation] (https://cdn-contenu.quebec.ca/cdn-contenu/adm/min/environnement/gestion-rives-littoral-zones-inondables/fiche-zones-inondables-visees.pdf)), the flood zones in question are, with some exceptions, the boundaries established according to the most recent maps or flood ratings as of 25 March 2021, including territories flooded by the spring floods of 2017 or 2019 The data in this map are provided for information purposes only and have no legal value. The user is therefore invited to contact the municipalities or MRCs in order to know the exact limits of the mapped flood zones and the regulations in force applicable on their territory. __This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).
