Aerial LiDAR 2015

Aerial LiDAR 2015 3D topographic representation of the territory in the form of a point cloud. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology makes it possible to represent the earth's surface topographically in three dimensions thanks to a laser system mounted on board an aircraft. The very large number of 3D points recorded (up to 400,000 per second) allows for a multitude of details on the ground and surface elements. LiDAR technology quickly, easily, and most importantly accurately provides elevation of ground detail and above-ground features, even in the presence of dense vegetation. The uses are: creation of a digital terrain model (DTM), creation of contour curves, volume calculation, planning, tree height calculation, mapping of building roofs, 3D modeling of cities, etc. Source: XEOS Imaging Inc.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2022-05-18 Government and Municipalities of Québec donneesouvertes@montreal.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology LiDAR tile indexCSV https://data.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/ec35760c-5cbe-44a0-8ad1-30c037174b0a/download/indexlidar2015.csv Interactive aerial LiDAR download mapHTML http://montreal.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Viewer/index.html?appid=0e6890209c024ef88a73cbc0bb6a3308 Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7 Aerial LiDAR tiles 2015 - 300 @307 (far east of the island)LAS http://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_300-307.zip Aerial LiDAR tiles 2015 - 295 @299 (east of the island)LAS http://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_295-299.zip Aerial LiDAR tiles 2015 - 290 @294 (center of the island)LAS http://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_290-294.zip Aerial LiDAR tiles 2015 - 280 @289 (west island)LAS http://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_280-289.zip Aerial LiDAR tiles 2015 - 266 @279 (far west of the island)LAS http://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_266-279.zip Product informationPDF https://data.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/f788b385-994b-40cf-9a3e-df22c98ed6f6/download/information-sur-le-produit-lidar-aerien.pdf LiDAR tile indexSHP https://data.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/c62565d1-d167-43f7-b3c9-9217504772a5/download/indexlidar2015shp.zip
