2015 aerial LiDAR

2015 aerial LiDAR 3D topographic representation of the territory in the form of a point cloud. LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology makes it possible to represent the Earth's surface topographically in three dimensions using a laser system mounted on board an aircraft. The very large number of 3D points recorded (up to 400,000 per second) makes it possible to obtain a multitude of details at the level of the ground and surface elements. LiDAR technology quickly, easily, and above all accurately provides the altitude of ground details and elements above ground, even in the presence of dense vegetation. The uses are: creation of a digital terrain model (DTM), creation of level curves, creation of level curves, volume calculation, planning, calculation of tree heights, mapping of building roofs, 3D modeling of cities, etc. Source: XEOS imagery inc.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2024-04-04 Government and Municipalities of Québec donneesouvertes@montreal.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology LiDAR tile indexCSV https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/ec35760c-5cbe-44a0-8ad1-30c037174b0a/download/indexlidar2015.csv Interactive aerial LiDAR download mapHTML http://montreal.maps.arcgis.com/apps/Viewer/index.html?appid=0e6890209c024ef88a73cbc0bb6a3308 Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7 2015 Aerial LiDAR tiles - 300 @307 (extreme east of the island)LAS https://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_300-307.zip 2015 Aerial LiDAR tiles - 295 @299 (east of the island)LAS https://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_295-299.zip 2015 Aerial LiDAR tiles - 290 @294 (center of the island)LAS https://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_290-294.zip 2015 Aerial LiDAR tiles - 280 @289 (West Island)LAS https://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_280-289.zip 2015 Aerial LiDAR tiles - 266 @279 (extreme west of the island)LAS https://depot.ville.montreal.qc.ca/geomatique/lidar_aerien/2015/LAS2015_classifiees_266-279.zip Product InformationPDF https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/f788b385-994b-40cf-9a3e-df22c98ed6f6/download/information-sur-le-produit-lidar-aerien.pdf LiDAR tile indexSHP https://donnees.montreal.ca/dataset/9ae61fa2-c852-464b-af7f-82b169b970d7/resource/c62565d1-d167-43f7-b3c9-9217504772a5/download/indexlidar2015shp.zip
