Percentage of Species at Risk, Alberta This Alberta Official Statistic and performance measure uses the results of the General Status of Alberta Wild Species Report, and expresses the number of wild species that are “at risk” as a percentage of all those assessed. The general status of Alberta wild species is conducted to honour commitments under the Accord for the Protection of Species at Risk, an agreement by provincial, territorial, and federal ministers responsible for wildlife.
