Geobase of the Quebec hydrographic network (GRHQ)

Geobase of the Quebec hydrographic network (GRHQ) The Geobase of the Quebec Hydrographic Network (GRHQ) is the common reference for hydrography in Quebec. It is a detailed hydrographic network to support numerous applications in spatial planning, the environment and civil security. The GRHQ is produced in partnership with the Ministry of Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change (MELCC) and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MERN) based on the following data: * The hydrographic classes of the Quebec Topographical Database (BDTQ) at the scale of 1:20 ,000 of the MERN for southern province; * CanVec hydrographic classes at the 1:50 ,000 scale by Natural Resources Canada for the north; * Continuity segments of the MELCC network; * MELCC hydrographic dividing units; * Official toponyms from the Toponymy Commission's TOPOS database. The main components are: _Geometric network_ * Points * Point components of the geometric network (hydrographic junctions) * Lines * Linear geometric network representing the continuity of flow through all types of hydrographic entities (linear and surface). _Thematic information_ * Points * Class of contextual entities represented in point form that enrich the thematic content of the various hydrographic components. * Lines * Class of contextual entities represented in linear form that enrich the thematic content of the various hydrographic components. * Class of entities represented in a linear form linear entities representing the shores of hydrographic surfaces. * Surfaces * Class of contextual entities represented in surface form that enrich the thematic content of the various hydrographic components. * Class of surface entities representing hydrographic surfaces. _Management units_ * Surfaces * Class of surface entities representing hydrographic dividing units (UDH).**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).** 2022-11-10 Government and Municipalities of Québec geoboutique@mern.gouv.qc.ca Form DescriptorsNature and EnvironmentScience and Technology Download index (csv format)CSV https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Documentation/GRHQ/Index_GRHQ.csv Full directory (FGDB format)FGDB/GDB https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Vectoriel/Carte_Topo/Local/GRHQ/FGDB/ Download map per block of hydrographic cutting units (UDH)HTML https://vgo-telechargement.portailcartographique.gouv.qc.ca/mobile.aspx?gpw=6781ef64-4bbd-4cb1-86c8-b138cf32270b Original metadata (https://www.donneesquebec.ca)HTML https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/bfbdeb1d-8398-444b-ad78-ab81f9d14e60 User guidePDF https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Documentation/GRHQ/Guide_GRHQ.pdf Index of hydrographic cutting units (UDH) (PDF format)PDF https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Documentation/GRHQ/Index_GRHQ.pdf Download index (shp format)SHP https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Documentation/GRHQ/Index_GRHQ.zip Inventory of available hydrographic cutting units (UDH) (shp format)SHP https://diffusion.mern.gouv.qc.ca/Diffusion/RGQ/Documentation/GRHQ/GRHQ_Index_Fichiers.zip WMS serviceother https://servicescarto.mern.gouv.qc.ca/pes/services/Territoire/GRHQ_simple_WMS/MapServer/WMSServer
