Historical Fire Management Zone

Historical Fire Management Zone This dataset shows the boundaries of the province's six fire management zones that existed prior to 2014 in which most forest fires received the same type of response. These management zones were based on: * common forest and forest fire management objectives * land use * density of values at risk * fire load * forest ecology The 2014 Wildland Fire Management Strategy moved from a zone-based approach to one where each wildland fire is assessed and receives an appropriate response according to the circumstances and condition of the fire. 2022-03-29 Government of Ontario Economics and IndustryNature and EnvironmentEconomy and BusinessEnvironment and Natural ResourcesGovernmentGovernment information Historical Fire Management ZonesESRI REST https://ws.lioservices.lrc.gov.on.ca/arcgis1071a/rest/services/LIO_OPEN_DATA/LIO_Open09/MapServer/32 Historical Fire Management ZonesESRI REST https://ws.lioservices.lrc.gov.on.ca/arcgis1071a/rest/services/LIO_OPEN_DATA/LIO_Open09/MapServer/32 Original metadata (https://data.ontario.ca)HTML https://data.ontario.ca/dataset/ef3d9059-abfb-4524-ae5a-2877c6767d99 Original metadata (https://data.ontario.ca/fr)HTML https://data.ontario.ca/fr/dataset/ef3d9059-abfb-4524-ae5a-2877c6767d99 Complete Shapefileother https://www.gisapplication.lrc.gov.on.ca/fmedatadownload/Packages/FIREMGPZ.zip Complete File Geodatabaseother https://www.gisapplication.lrc.gov.on.ca/fmedatadownload/Packages/fgdb/FIREMGPZ.zip QGIS Layer Definition Fileother http://www.sdc.gov.on.ca/sites/MNRF-PublicDocs/EN/CMID/lio-open-qlr-eng/fire-management-zone.qlr QGIS Layer Definition File (.qlr)other https://www.sdc.gov.on.ca/sites/MNRF-PublicDocs/EN/CMID/lio-open-qlr-fre/zones-historiques-de-gestion-des-incendies.qlr
