Letter Minister John Munroe signed back in the 80’s after Conne River had entered into negotiations with the federal government. This letter agreed to negotiate with the rest of the Mi’kmaq on the island of NL. I am also looking for a report done by Dorethy Anger in January of 1984, Potential eligibility of native people on the island of NL, outside of conne River as status indians. A copy of the Canada Newfoundland Native Peoples Agreement 1965. The DMC paper for DIAND in 1984 which summarizes recommendation for Federation of NL Indians based on research done on communities.

All Documents ragarding Muskowekwan First Nation # 392. The Election Act underwent a ratification process. The total Electors - 1310 eligible voters - 236 electors cast a ballot-124 votes cast YES and 111 cast NO. September 23, 2016 was the ratification vote. Chief and Council submitted a resolution requesting to the Minister of Indian Affairs to issue an order to terminate the application of Section 74 of the Indian Act to the First Nation on October 11, 2016. An amendment to the Custom Election Act was held in November, 2020, December 2020 and February, 2021 to review Custom Election Law. All documents of process from July 1, 2016 to October 11, 2016 -All documents of Amendment consultation and Amendment vote September 1, 2020 to March 1, 2021
